Karine Tonial Grimm is from Brazil. She started using media on canvas in 2017 when she was living in Germany. After about 2 years she moved to the digital world which she loves today because it gives her many more possibilities. Her style is abstract paintings and she loves to experiment with new colors and textures. She discovered art because of a dark moment she was in. Art came as therapy and made a huge role in her healing.

“I love sitting down and creating. The inspiration for a particular piece can come from anywhere. Sometimes something as simple as buying a new brush can change the course of my paintings for weeks at a time.”

Q&A
How did you get started as an artist?
I started painting while battling depression. Art came as therapy. The contemplation and creation of subjective beauty lifted me from the depths of despair to the heights of euphoria! Art healed me!
What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently working on abstract landscapes. I am learning some techniques and starting to paint this style.
What type of music do you listen to? Do you listen to anything specific while creating?
I like international pop music in general. I usually prefer a quiet place when I am creating. This allows my creativity to flow.
What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?
Work and believe! Trust God and do not worry that much.
What are you most proud of in your career as an artist?
I am proud to know that there is so much of my art in homes around the world. I definitely did not foresee that when I started painting as therapy.
The tool I use the most is Photoshop because I use it to resize my work when needed

Our Happy Customers

This print adds a lot of white to my home. Because of looking from a distance, you wouldn\’t even notice it\’s printed on fabric. I love this simple design, and the black and tan add a pop of color to my home\’s decor.

The artwork, “Mind” in 60X90 went beyond my expectations. The fabric was perfectly taut when we inserted it in the frame. I ordered two of the same print, and could not be happier! I highly recommend these “fabric print” pieces of art.

Got the set for our great room and we love it. Easy to assemble

Image is NOT as sharp as it should be compared to the website image in person it looks plan & full probably for a guest bedroom I ordered 32×48 pic might look better in a smaller size

Affordable and looks amazing! It really looks like canvas. Exactly what we needed to bring a large blank wall to life!

Originally was surprised I had to put this together but I\’m so happy that I did. Love this print, looks great in the 48×72 size.

Finally found something large enough to fill the giant wall in my dining room. I have really high ceilings and ordered this in the largest size available. Was a little intimidated to assemble but once I got started it only took a few minutes and now it looks amazing.

I was drawn to the simplicity of this piece, very happy with how this looks in my room. I’ve tied a few elements together with this same green tone.
