However, it was his side hustle, offering his self-taught filming skills to social media personalities, that helped him pave his path to YouTube and TikTok virality.After juggling gaining traction on TikTok and YouTube while working for an NFT startup, a casual coffee shop conversation with a friend steered him toward an untapped niche, touring various NYC apartments through the lens of rent and relatability.
Caleb’s strategy was simple and authentic. He'd approach strangers, ask about their rent, and if lucky, get to tour their apartments, MTV Cribs style. His YouTube channel soon started buzzing as viewers couldn’t wait to get a glimpse of New York living through his lens.
What unfolded was unique, effortless and entertaining. Caleb didn’t just showcase apartments; he offered a look into the lives of everyday New Yorkers.
