The Power to Create

Nuwarhol's style has often been described as a mash-up of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, and Keith Haring. With that being said it's no surprise to see another Basquiat-themed artwork added to his collection. Muhammad Ali, and a two very colorful Rolex Watch pieces are now available alongside of his popular celebrity and pop abstract paintings. Each of his artworks start with a pencil and scrap paper and are then transferred to his iPad. He moves from rough doodles and scribbles on paper to more fleshed-out ideas in the digital world. He feels Iike every version is a piece in itself, the idea keeps transforming and it’s never really complete.

Nuwarhol explains, the intention of his art is to bring perspective and life to the world, by adding color, beauty and abstraction. He thinks we all have the power to create our own worlds, and his artwork is his way of opening the doors and inviting people to be a part of his. Ultimately, his goal is to build his name, work on collaborations with brands, travel the world and empower another generation of Caribbean kids to pursue their dreams. Above all, his ultimate goal is to inspire and empower the youth because growing up he didn’t see that enough.
