My passion for photography and digital art began once I started architecture school at Drexel University back in 2015. Photoshop and compositing have been a part of my creative process since the beginning. As a designer, I like to imagine what could be, rather than what is.

Q&A

What is your goal with your artwork?

The goal of my art is more about the process than the final product. My work thus far has been a series of explorations that have challenged and developed me in new ways, and it is exciting to discover where it might lead me next.

Who/what are your biggest creative influences?

The blog “Visualizing Architecture.”

Do your current or past locations influence your artistic choices?

I work primarily in Philadelphia. My love and passion for this city is a huge motivating factor for the work I create.

How did you acquire your nickname?

Hythacg has been my username for school since I was a kid. Just my last name Hytha, and first and midle initial “C” “G.”

What other hobbies do you have?

Cycling around the city has become inseparable to my work as a photographer. I love cruising around the streets of the city, even when I don’t have a camera in my hand.
