Q&A
What is your goal with your artwork and what motivates you?
Honestly my goal is just to create something awesome that I’ll love to look at and hopefully others will like to look at as well. It’s unbelievably satisfying each time I look back at mu finished piece and see what I’ve done. That’s my main motivation to create new works.
Do your current or past locations influence your artistic choices?
I honestly don’t think my locations have currently influenced my artistic choices that much. I do believe my location could in the future, but I don’t think it has at this time.
What are you influenced by?
My biggest influences are probably the cartoons I watched and video games I played growing up, along with some of the current cartoons I enjoy also. For actual artists my three biggest influences would be, Alec Monopoly, Virgil Abloh, and Vexx. All three have influenced me and my work greatly throughout my time as an artists.
How did you acquire your nickname?
Pretty simple, My last name is Wegner and some of my buddys called me Wegs so when it came time to start an art instagram, I went with Wegs Art.
What projects are you currently working on or what’s next for you?
I think the biggest thing that’s next for me is NFT’s, got a few different things I’m working on and excited with that.
What brands represent your personal style?
I’m not sure honestly, I do like Off-White a lot, the creator, Virgil Abloh is on of my inspirations for being an artists.
are very useful and probably my most used art items. They help a lot with small details and crisp linework in paintings.
